The Bible recognises that God do communicate in dreams.
An angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream when Joseph was considering what to do with Mary. It seems the angel appeared to Joseph again and again. (Matt 1: 20, Matt 2:12-13).
In the Book of Daniel, dreams and interpretation of dreams were mentioned.
I read that in islamic nations, where the spreading of gospel is not allowed, God could speak to certain people in their dreams.
I hope God will communicate with me in my dreams too. But, no, He has not yet communicated to me with such clarity.
Most of the time, I still have to use my own common sense, and an interpretation of His teachings in the Bible, to decide His answers to my prayers.

7 Most Difficult Questions:
Along life's journey, faith is required. Faith in ourselves, faith in others, faith in God and the Divine.
My 'journey of faith' started while I was in St Andrew's School at around the age of 14. I was confronted by Jesus Christ, the same way He confronted Simon Peter. He asked: "Who do you say I am?"
Peter had already been with Jesus for 3 years, so he could answer without hesitation, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God". Matt 16:13-16.
But I could not answer Jesus' question immediately. I was then only in Secondary Two. For the next 5 years, I searched, I questioned, I resisted the idea that Jesus was the Son of God. I had no problem believing in God the Father, the God of gods. I only had problem believing in Jesus, who goes around claiming to be the Son of God.
Finally, after 5 years of searching, I took the step of faith -- I submitted myself to Jesus, but told Him that He had to reveal more of Himself to me.
If you have not started your journey of faith, you will not be able to answer Jesus' question too.
Don't be afraid to start on your journey of faith. Everybody have to travel this path. In months or years to come, you will find an answer to Jesus' question too.
